Watson Gutowski, D.O.’58, has donated to DMU every year since 1972. He and his wife, Catherine, also established the Catherine A. Gutowski and Watson A. Gutowski Endowed Scholarship Fund to benefit DMU students.

“It has been an honor and my pleasure to support Des Moines University, which has given my family and myself a very wonderful life,” he says.

Marc Baumert, PA-C’14, and Morgan Baumert, M.H.A.’15 began their consecutive-year giving habit four years ago. “We recognize the benefits of our time at DMU each year in the careers that the faculty prepared us for, and so we’re grateful we’re able to continue our support each year as well,” Morgan says.

These donors’ consecutive-year giving is a great way to invest in high-quality health care and its future leaders. Donors who give regularly provide a steady income stream that gives the University the ability and confidence to fund ongoing operations and seize new opportunities. They also help DMU control the cost of tuition, which has a powerful impact on our students – your future colleagues.

Consecutive-year giving is easy for you, too.

Set up your annual, quarterly or monthly contribution and never worry whether you’ve supported one of the causes that’s important to you. Gifts of any size make you a member of this important group. DMU celebrates consecutive-year donors when they reach giving milestones at 10 years and then at every five-year increment.
