Made a Planned Gift to DMU? Get a Tree on the New Campus!

This is an extraordinary time in Des Moines University’s history. Its new campus is welcoming its first students. Its impact on Central Iowa is growing as the DMU Clinic continues to serve patients at 3200 Grand Ave. As the university enters the final phase of the Purple & Proud Campaign, DMU’s most significant fundraising effort ever, alumni and friends have exciting opportunities to support DMU’s vision for medical and health sciences education.

Deferred gifts, also called planned gifts, are great ways to support and further strengthen the university. Including DMU in your will or estate plan, a charitable trust, IRA or other deferred gift can offer you financial benefits. You will enjoy knowing you will have a powerful impact on future DMU students. Best of all, telling us about your intentions allows us to thank you now.

Please let DMU know if you have included the university in your will or other type of deferred gift. We will honor you as a member of the prestigious Legacy Society, which recognizes individuals who make planned gifts or bequests to the university. DMU also will plant a tree on the new campus to honor every donor who documents a planned gift by June 30, 2024.
