When you give to Des Moines University, you change the world by supporting the preparation of future health care professionals and leaders. You can make that critical difference in ways that benefit you and your loved ones financially and let you fulfill your charitable goals. You have a wide variety of ways to do so.
Outright gifts represent assets you give immediately to support DMU. You can fulfill your gift with a single contribution or make incremental payments over time, for up to five years, which may allow you to maximize your giving and have an even greater impact on students.
Deferred gifts are those that you commit to in the present but give to DMU in the future. These planned gifts offer a wide variety of benefits, including flexibility, tax savings and — in some cases — fixed, dependable income for life. Deferred gifts often enable you to contribute more to the University than outright gifts.
The W. Stevenson and Luther T. Glanton Fund supports scholarships for qualified minority students, under-represented in health care, and other initiatives that enrich and enhance the cultural competency of all DMU students.
